Everything you need to know about our programs, enrollment, and how the institute works.
About the Institute
Al Miraath Institute is an institute of sacred learning dedicated to making the inheritance of the Prophet ﷺ accessible to students across the world. We offer structured programs in the Qur'an, Sunnah, Arabic, Fiqh, Aqeedah, Hadith sciences, and Tarbiyah of the heart — taught by qualified teachers with classical training.
The Institute is based in Seattle, Washington. Our live sessions are held online via Zoom and YouTube, making them accessible to students worldwide. Some in-person events are held in the Seattle area.
All programs are taught by teachers with classical Islamic training and authorized study. Our lead instructor is Ustaadh Abdullahi Shire, and we regularly host visiting scholars for special sittings and conferences. Teacher backgrounds are shared within each course.
Al Miraath Institute follows the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah. Our curriculum draws from the classical tradition across all four madhabs and presents knowledge with balance, sincerity, and adab.
Programs & Enrollment
Visit our Enrollment page, fill out the form, and select the program you'd like to join. You can subscribe to the All-Access Library or join a live cohort — you'll receive a secure Stripe payment link. For free programs, access is granted after account registration.
Prophetic Inheritance is our flagship multi-stage curriculum, now in its third year. It is a structured, sequential journey through the foundational Islamic sciences — from creed and fiqh to hadith, usul, Arabic, and advanced classical texts. Students are accepted into cohorts and progress together under close teacher supervision. It is taught as live cohorts; the price for the current intake is shown on its registration page, and completed stages are available in the All-Access library.
For sequential programs like Prophetic Inheritance, enrollment is cohort-based. You would typically wait for the next intake. For other programs, enrollment may be open on a rolling basis. Contact us at Miraathinstitute@gmail.com to ask about current availability.
Yes. A significant portion of our catalog is offered completely free to the community, including: Fiqh of Fasting, Siraj al-Tafseer, Bulugh al-Maram, 40 Hadiths of an-Nawawi, Fiqh of Purity, Winter & Summer 'Ilm Conferences, Dawrah Ilmiyyah, private sittings, and more. See the full curriculum for the complete list.
It depends on the program. Prophetic Inheritance 1 is designed for students at the beginning of their structured Islamic study journey. Most free programs are suitable for general audiences. For intermediate or advanced programs, prerequisites are noted in the course description. If unsure, email us and we'll help you find the right starting point.
Live Sessions & Access
Live classes are held online via Zoom or YouTube Live. Enrolled students receive the link before each session. Sessions are typically recorded — recordings are made available to enrolled students after the class through the student portal.
Recordings of live sessions are uploaded to the student portal shortly after each class. You will not lose access to course content if you miss a session, as long as your enrollment is active.
Visit our Calendar page for all upcoming live sessions, conferences, and events. You can also subscribe to our Google Calendar or join our WhatsApp channel for instant reminders.
Payments & Cancellation
There are two ways to study. The All-Access Library is $25/month and includes every completed course — watch anytime, cancel anytime. Live cohorts (taught live by the teacher, with office hours and review sessions) each have their own price, shown on the class’s registration page. We also offer many free community programs. When a live cohort finishes, it joins the All-Access library.
You can cancel your All-Access subscription (or any monthly billing) by contacting us at Miraathinstitute@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will retain access until that date.
One-time payments are generally non-refundable after course access has been granted. If a course is cancelled by the Institute before it begins, you will receive a full refund. For exceptional circumstances, contact us and we'll review your situation individually.
Payments are processed via Stripe, which accepts all major credit and debit cards. Recurring billing for the All-Access subscription is handled automatically. You will receive a receipt by email for every payment.
